JPMorgan hires trader in strategic currency services group

JPMorgan has hired former ANZ NDF trader Paul Haines to join the bank’s strategic currency services group.

Based in London, Haines will report to Pitts Robinson, head of the strategic currency services group, which provides FX services between the investment bank and JPMorgan’s Worldwide Securities Services Group. Haines left ANZ in May, having worked there since November 2009 as a senior NDF trader. Prior to a brief stint as a spot trader at BP, Haines was employed by Bank of America as an emerging markets FX spot and forwards from 2004.
