Skanska strengthened its Nordic footprint with a trio of Copenhagen milestones that highlighted demand resilience and a deeper push into sustainability.
In housing, the firm completed and divested Hørkær Have, a 264-apartment rental community in Herlev, through a forward purchase to the Nordic real estate investor Nrep. The scheme, an approximately 22,700 sqm development with balconies/terraces, electric vehicle-ready parking and a shared garden, was fully leased at divestment, speaking to product-market fit and leasing execution in a cautious residential market. The project also piloted Skanska’s Danish biodiversity strategy, replacing hardstandings with a communal green garden irrigated by harvested rainwater and adding shared work/meeting facilities.
