John Hobin, a 20-year veteran in the FX markets, fills the role, with responsibility for expanding the platform’s customer franchise. “Digital Vega is now in a major growth phase as a company, and as we continue to expand and develop our offering, John’s experience and relationships will be invaluable,” says Suter in a statement on Friday.
Hobin joins from Macquarie Bank, where he was head of FX institutional sales since May 2011, having held positions at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America and Dresdner Kleinwort before that.
