Thin has nearly 15 years of investment experience and will help augment the team's coverage of the foreign exchange market, with a special interest in developing markets.
Before joining BBH, Thin founded Mandalay Advisors, an independent research firm that provided sovereign emerging market analysis to institutional investors. Prior to that, he was a vice president and international economist for Alliance Capital Management, covering major emerging markets in Asia and Latin America and working closely with portfolio managers to develop investment strategies. He has also worked at HSBC and at the US Treasury.
With over $1.7 trillion in custody and 15 locations worldwide, BBH provides specialist services and innovative solutions to clients in close to 100 markets for custody, accounting, administration, securities lending, foreign exchange, and brokerage services.
