For more than 160 years, trade finance has been central to HSBC’s identity. In 2024, the bank’s Global Trade Solutions (GTS) franchise reaffirmed that legacy, delivering $2.6 billion in trade revenues, up 2% year-on-year in a market that remained largely flat.
With operations spanning more than 50 countries and access to around 85% of global trade flows, HSBC facilitated $857 billion of cross-border commerce and sustained its position as the world’s largest trade finance bank by revenue.
