Well-informed sources say that Morgan Stanley has poached Martine Bond and three further members of her team from JPMorgan. Bond, who is believed to have moved across as global head of FX prime brokerage, will be based with one of the others in London, while two of the team will work out of New York. She is expected to start after some nicely timed summer gardening leave. The hire is said to be a significant step in Morgan Stanley’s plans to expand its FX prime brokerage team. What JPMorgan thinks of it is unknown, as the bank doesn’t comment on people moves.
