Edward (Ted) Voorhees will start at Saxo Bank as its new global head of options on November 1. Voorhees, who has held senior positions in the past at Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank, has traded his own money for the past five years.
“Ted is a very skilled trader and that is what we need in order to serve our growing client base with world-class currency options business,” says Charles-Henri Sabet, who recently joined Saxo’s senior executive management following the acquisition of Synthesis Bank, which he founded. Voorhees is replacing Lars Thuesen, who will leave Saxo at the end of October.
