Commerzbank has confirmed the hire of John Juer as its head of FX financial engineering. Juer joins the bank from Calyon, where he spent two-years as managing director, FX quantitative research and e-business. Prior to Calyon, Juer held similar roles at ANZ, UBS and Credit Agricole.
Juer will have responsibility for FX derivatives and will join Commerz’s financial engineering management team. He reports to Klaus Hoffmann, head of FX and precious metals and will be based in London.
