Zagrebacka Banka BH Zagrebacka and Raiffeisenbank remain very close competitors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with profit just about neck and neck last year. In 2003, Raiffeisen had the largest total assets, and pulled in some impressive investment banking business.

However, Zagrebacka Banka had a higher return on equity, a lower cost to income ratio and, thanks to the merger with Universal Bank Sarajevo in June 2004, the largest branch network in the country.
