Standard Chartered loses two options traders

Rahul Darbari, a senior foreign exchange options trader in Singapore, and Ragu Santhalingam, a New York-based options trader, have left Standard Chartered, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Darbari had been at the bank since 2007, having come from the emerging markets and exotic options trading desk at Credit Suisse. Santhalingam joined Standard Chartered’s London options desk in 2003, before transferring to Dubai in 2007 and then New York in 2010.

Standard Chartered confirmed the departures but declined to comment further.
