Rahul Darbari, who is based in Singapore, left Standard Chartered earlier this month, having joined the bank in 2007. Before that, Darbari worked as an options trader at Credit Suisse.
The appointment is the latest in a string of hires by ANZ, as reported by EuromoneyFXNews’ sister publication Derivatives Intelligence earlier this month.
The Australian bank made a strong showing in this year’s Euromoney FX Survey, rising from 42nd to 26th position and was the 3rd most-improved bank with corporate customers. ANZ was also voted the best bank for client service in the Asia time zone.
