Joe Cardello has joined the Australian bank in New York, reporting Pieter Bierkens, head of markets for the Americas. Cardello also reports to CBA’s London-based global head of FX Kieran Salter. Cardello joins from a sales role at Jeffries Bache in New York. Prior to that, he has also worked at Barclays, JP Morgan, Moore Capital and RBC.
CBA ranked 36th in this year’s Euromoney FX Survey, up from 44th in the 2011 poll. In North America, the bank ranked 40th.
