Former UBS FX strategist to join RBS Greenwich

Brian Kim, formerly a foreign exchange strategist at UBS until his recent departure, is to join RBS Greenwich, EuromoneyFXNews understands.

Kim will be based in the Stamford office of RBS Greenwich, the UK bank’s North American subsidiary, which it acquired as part of its takeover of NatWest in 2000. He will report to Rob Sinche, the bank’s global head of FX strategy.

Kim had been with UBS for three years. A UBS spokesperson confirmed to Bloomberg last week that he had left to pursue other opportunities.

RBS declined to comment.
