Update: BAML's Webster set to join RBS

Mark Webster, Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s head of European FX sales, has left the bank and is set to join RBS, EuromoneyFXNews understands.

The departure follows that of Richard Elliott, head of electronic foreign-exchange options trading, who left the bank recently.

Last month, the bank hired Kevin Connors, the former co-head of global G10 foreign exchange sales at Goldman Sachs, as its new global head of FX sales.

Webster was based in BAML’s London office. He had been with Merrill since 2002.

BAML declined to comment.
