BAML e-FX options chief quits

Richard Elliott, Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s head of electronic foreign-exchange options trading, has left the bank.

Elliott joined BAML early last year from Credit Suisse, where he helped develop the bank’s e-FX platform.

BAML hired Elliott to help spur its e-commerce development, BAML global G10 FX chief Peter Antico told EuromoneyFXNews last month.

The bank also hired Michael Dubno, Goldman Sachs’ former chief technology officer, as head of global markets technology in January 2010 as part of the same push. And Liam Hudson joined from BarCap to become BAML’s global head of electronic foreign exchange.

BAML declined to comment.
