CLS average daily settlement values reach record high
CLS Group, the multi-currency cash settlement system, settled a record average daily value of $5.21 trillion in September, a month-on-month increase of 8% and a year-on-year increase of 23%, the company announced.
Average daily settlement volumes for the month were 935,810, a month-on-month increase of 9% and the highest level since May 2010. The CLS aggregation service volumes in September were up 13% on the previous month to 267,687 and recorded an average compression ratio of 95.5%.
Total volumes submitted to CLS in September, combining settlement and aggregation service, were 1,191,535, close to a 9% increase from August.
