FX people moves: LetstalkFX.com brandishes two vets
Roland White the respected FX sales and e-commerce veteran has joined LetstalkFX.com, the soon-to-be-launched digital FX networking venue, as a consultant.
White’s 20-year career has encompassed Reuters, EBS, Citi and, most recently, Standard Chartered, where he was a director in e-FX sales.
LetstalkFX has also announced that it has acquired the services of Tina Kane, ex-head of communications at EBS, to support the launch, marketing and PR strategy.
The launch is scheduled for the end of March 2010.
LetstalkFX says it wants to become the premier social and business-networking venue for FX market participants. When the initiative was first announced in December, Stefan Basiuk, one of the six co-founders of the company said: “The time has now arrived to create a digital community that will unite the whole FX industry, in one place. All market participants – whether drawn from the interbank, hedge funds, corporate or retail FX sectors, and indeed service providers – require a service tailored specifically to their needs, which will enable them to form new trading relationships, discuss and collaborate, exchange trade ideas, gossip and promote services, on a global basis.”
