FX people moves: UBS continues hiring spree in sales

UBS’s recruitment drive continues apace.

The latest word is that Guenter Grimm has left RBS, where he was head of German, Austrian and Swiss FI and FX sales (and reported to Chris Leuschke global head of FX sales) to join UBS in Zurich. Doubtless Grimm will be again be servicing German-speaking institutionals and, if the destination of UBS is true, Grimm would probably report to Philippe Rochat and Brian Lewis, co-heads of CEEMEA sales.

It might be coincidence that Grimm once worked with Richard Longmore (now UBS’s head of European FX sales) at JPMorgan; as did another recent UBS recruit, Mel Hussain, who joined the Swiss bank’s hedge fund sales desk last month from Credit Agricole. Small world.

Neither RBS nor UBS wished to comment.
