FX people moves: CLS continues to make quality hires at the top

CLS Group announced two senior appointments this week.

Carol Simon joins as executive vice-president, risk management, reporting to the CEO. Simon previously had her own risk management consultancy. Before that, she was global head of hedge fund credit at Deutsche in New York for several years, and has held senior risk management roles at Chase and BNP Paribas.

Cynthia Tazioli, formerly head of North America sales at BT Radianz, joins as the company’s head of sales and relationship management. She reports to Rachael Hoey, director, business development. Prior to BT Radianz, a supplier of communication and hosting services for the financial services industry, Tazioli held senior sales positions within a number of financial services technology providers, including Datastream and Documentum.

Both Simon and Tazioli will be based in CLS’s New York office.

Rob Close, CLS’s soon-to-retire CEO (FX people moves: Rob era draws to a close at CLS), says: “We are thrilled to have both Cynthia and Carol join the team. Both bring significant experience in their areas of expertise. Carol will make an excellent contribution to the risk management function and to the commercial evolution of CLS. Cynthia’s main focus will be to develop our critical customer relationships and ensure that our service proposition continues to meet the demands of our clients.”
