FX people moves: Citigroup appoints Asia ex-Japan FX head

Citigroup has appointed Patrick Perret-Green as head of FX and local markets strategy for Asia ex-Japan.

Perret-Green will move to Singapore from Citigroup in London, where he ran a strategic trading book for Citi as well as writing economic commentary.

In the newly created role, Perret-Green will be responsible for the development of Asian FX and local markets strategy and provide research publications to clients.

Commenting on the new role, Nadir Mahmud, Asia head of FX, local market trading and risk treasury, says: “We are seeing increased demand from our clients across the FX and local markets business in Asia Pacific and Patrick’s appointment underlines our commitment to provide clients with the most innovative ideas, products and services across our regional platform.”
