Barclays Capital has appointed Jeff Young as a managing director and head of North America FX research.
Young, formerly an FX portfolio manager and chief economist at Platinum Grove Asset Management, is based in New York. He reports to Piero Ghezzi, MD and head of economics, emerging markets and FX research, based in London.

Young joins the latest in a line of Barclays hires, including: Mike Testa, Marlena Demenus, David Greenwald, Kevin Tam, Rick Sears, James White and David Weiss.
