FX people moves: Bizer and Hogan at Nomura

Nomura has promoted David Bizer, formerly global head of fixed income sales, to chief administrative officer to the wholesale division.

Bizer was previously at Lehman Brothers as head of fixed income sales for Europe and the Middle East and was an economic advisor to presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush.

He will report to Jesse Bhattal and Hiroshi Tanaka, respectively COO and CEO of the wholesale division.

Meanwhile Canice Hogan, another ex Lehman and head of fixed income flow sales, EMEA, at Nomura retired from his position last Friday. He reported to David Bizer.

A spokesman from Nomura says: “Canice Hogan has decided to retire from full-time service with Nomura. He will continue to work in a part-time capacity focusing on recruitment and training.”
