FX people moves: Quek and Lowe at RBC

RBC has added two hires to its global FX team in the Asia-Pacific region, with the appointments of Winston Quek and Amanda Lowe.

Quek (ex Calyon and RBS) joins as a director and will be based in Singapore to focus on institutional clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Lowe (ex State Street and Société Générale) joins as a vice-president and will be based in Sydney, focusing on real money and pension funds in Australia.

Natasha Brook-Walters, global head of macro FX, says: “With an increasing focus on our global coverage of FX institutional clients, we are adding significant hires to our platform in regions key to our FX growth, particularly Australia and Asia. Both Winston and Amanda will add depth to our existing platform, and will enhance the service we can provide to our Asian and Australian client base.”
