People moves: BofA/Hudson rumours continue to flow

Still no official confirmation, but theweeklyFiX understands that Liam Hudson (former senior eFX developer at Barclays) will start this month at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London as global head of eFX.

It looks like a good hire for BofA: Barclays is widely considered to have one of the top two electronic offerings in foreign exchange, alongside Deutsche Bank.

Hudson has a big job on his hands to match Barclays’ performance: last year, Bank of America ranked in ninth place for market share in proprietary electronic platforms.
