This morning, the market is awash with rumours that there was some more staff movement between the two brokers in New York last night. Details are patchy, perhaps understandably given the ongoing legal processes – the two brokers are due to trade punches again in court in London on October 12 over a BGC raid which took place earlier this year – but apparently there may have even been a bit of a ‘hostage swap’.
