|Contributing editor, ECR
Jeremy has been a contributing editor to Euromoney Country Risk since 2012.
He began his career in the early 1990s working as an economist and forecaster within the investment strategy team at commercial real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle, after completing a Masters in macroeconomics and receiving the Nissan Prize for Industrial Economics as an under-graduate.
He is a former editorial director at Consensus Economics, an international survey firm, where he inaugurated several of their newsletter publications. He now produces his own monthly surveys of economic forecasts for MJEconomics, including Euro Zone Barometer.
Jeremy is employed on a freelance basis as an economist and country risk expert by Euromoney, and for other companies producing detailed reports focusing on investor risk.
He is married with two children and is based near Manchester (on the blue side). His interests, apart from watching and still playing football when injury allows, include a passion for blues, hard rock and heavy metal music, and playing the guitar (rather badly).
