Integral recruits Reuters veteran to cope with growth

Integral Development Corporation, the FX software and systems developer, has hired a Thomson Reuters veteran to oversee the acquisition of new clients, as it attempts to keep pace with accelerating growth within the company.

Integral has taken on Douglas Sidnam as global head of solutions from Reuters, where he worked for two decades. At Reuters, Sidnam was senior vice-president of professional services, and had global responsibility for delivering the firm’s trading and market data products.

Integral says the newly created role will see Sidnam work on the services and processes “to quickly and efficiently” bring new customers on board.

The appointment comes less than a month after Wells Fargo announced it had chosen Integral to build a pricing engine for its FX single-dealer platform.

Harpal Sandhu, Integral CEO, says the company has added more customers in 2012 than in the previous two years combined, and that its growth rate is accelerating.

“Doug is the right individual at the right time to maintain that continued growth,” he says.

Sidnam will be based at Integral’s New York office and report to chief technology officer Viral Tolat.
