Danske Bank appoints new FX bank sales chief

Danske Bank has hired a new head of FX bank sales.

Troels Estrup will be based in the bank’s Copenhagen office and is set to begin work on January 1, 2013. There he will report to Niklas Karlsson, who is Danske Bank’s global head of FX spot and options sales. Estrup will join Danske Bank from Barclays in London where he has worked since 2010 as vice president for e-FX sales covering the Scandinavian and Russian markets.

Prior to his time at Barclays, Estrup worked for Saxo Bank from 2007 to 2010 as a relationship manager for the Nordic region based in Copenhagen.
