Lawrence has been the Asia Editor of Euromoney magazine since September 2007. He covers banking and markets across Asia, writing features and news stories for the magazine as well as editing its coverage of the region. He joined Euromoney as a reporter in the London office in 2006, covering emerging markets, before moving to Tokyo in 2007 and then to Hong Kong in April 2009.
Prior to Euromoney, Lawrence worked for a year as an English teacher in a junior high school in Nagasaki, Japan, as part of the government-sponsored JET program. He holds a degree in English Literature from Cambridge University.
