Credit Suisse departures continue as five leave FX team

The Credit Suisse FX sales and trading team is five persons lighter, as departures from the bank continue.

Head of Pacific Rim options Garrett Clinton, hedge fund salesmen Thomas Farrer and Steve Russell, and spot traders Natalie Williams and Heinrich Putter have all left the Swiss bank, according to people familiar with the matter. Farrer was based in London as the head of European FX hedge fund sales. He joined Credit Suisse in May 2006 after a two-year stint at Bear Stearns from February 2004 to February 2006.

Putter was also based in London, where he worked as an EM FX and rates trader beginning in 2011. He joined Credit Suisse from Barclays Capital, where he also worked as an EM FX and rates trader from June 2005 until February 2011.

The five departures from Credit Suisse this month come after Zachary Felshman, Credit Suisse’s America eFX sales co-head, left the bank in November.

Marc Dray, Raymond To, Tania Goh, Nande Khim, Sari Chandra, Mary Coe and Nirav Kandorda also leftCredit Suisse’s FX and fixed-income teams in Asia in November, along with Andy DePhillips, who left Credit Suisse to join BNP Paribas to cover institutional FX sales.
