Goldman’s Powdrill joins CBRE

Guy Powdrill has joined CB Richard Ellis from Goldman Sachs.

He becomes a senior director of real estate finance and will work with Philip Cropper, executive director, and the real estate finance board in London.

Powdrill will focus on the team’s growing corporate finance work, specifically its equity raising for Iceberg Alternative Real Estate, the firm’s hedge fund venture with Reech AIM.

At Goldman Powdrill worked on property derivative sales. Cropper says real estate finance is a rapidly growing division in the firm and is set to be a big driver of growth.

"[Powdrill] brings a wealth of experience in property derivative sales and corporate finance advisory work and will be a valuable addition to the business," Cropper says.
