Government to pay Christmas bonuses to pensioners. The government decided to pay Christmas bonuses to pensioners, the public relations office of the government reported. Thus, it gave its consent to the Croatian Pension Insurance Bureau to pay the bonuses. We note that there were a lot of discussions in respect to the payment of Christmas bonuses as the government intended to limit budget expenditures, taking into consideration the turbulences in international financial markets and the slowdown of economic growth on global scale.
