Finance ministry sells PLN 2.9bn in 2-year T-bonds, demand at PLN 8.0bn. The finance ministry sold PLN 2.93bn of 2-year zero-coupon series OK0710 Treasury bonds at its Wednesday (Dec 10) auction from the offer of PLN 2.50bn. Investors’ demand reached PLN 8.04bn. The minimum price of the bonds was PLN 869.40, the average price was PLN 869.96, and average yield - 5.469%. Later in the day, the ministry sold the entire PLN 500mn offer of these bonds at a supplementary auction. Earlier, it said it would offer PLN 1.0-2.5bn from the papers at December's sole auction. The ministry last sold 2-year bonds in August. At that time, investors purchased PLN 1.83bn worth of 2-year zero-coupon series OK0710 Treasury bonds (the offer was for PLN 1.80bn), placing demand for a total of PLN 3.72bn. The minimum price of the bonds was PLN 883.90, the average price was PLN 884.27, and average yield - 6.471%. ISB
