Hong Kong's exchange fund assets increase to HKD 1.426tn in September. According to figures of the Monetary Authority, the assets of Hong Kong's exchange fund increased by HKD 22.4bn m/m to HKD 1.426tn in September. Foreign currency assets increased by HKD 21.1bn, while Hong Kong Dollar assets increased by HKD 1.3bn. The monetary base increased by 6.3% m/m to stand at HKD 347.3bn at the end of September.
