Egypt's investment company Pioneers acquires 20% of US Concord. Egypt's investment company Pioneers Holding signed an agreement to acquire 20% of New York-based Concord International Investment Group for USD 24mn, according to a statement by the stock exchange. Pioneers' move will enhance the company's expansion strategy as it currently operates in the Gulf and Morocco . Concord International Investment manages directly and through its affiliates investment portfolios and mutual funds amounting to approximately USD 2.3bn worldwide, of which approximately USD 1.2bn are invested in Egyptian equities.
