Kuwait's KGL establishes USD 2bn aviation complex in Philippines. Kuwait's investment company KGL started work on establishing the Global Gateway Logistics City (GGLC), a USD 2bn logistic aviation complex in a former US military base in the Philippines , the company said in a statement. The project, the first big investment by a Kuwaiti group in the Philippines , will be constructed on a 167-hectare site at Clark Field in Pampanga. The complex will have aviation companies, storages, distribution, transport, and light industry centers, and offices. It is expected to provide 70,000 job opportunities.
