Central bank places 3-month treasuries at 6.24% yield. The central bank announced the results of the last auction of treasury bills held on Tuesday. The bank sold 3-month securities with a total par value of ALL 4.6bn. The yield on 3-month securities fell slightly to an average of 6.24% from 6.26% at the previous auction. Since the beginning of 2008, BoA has sold T-bills for about ALL 249.1bn.
