RTS index down by 2.57% w/w to 1785.36 pts during Aug 11 – Aug 15. RTS index went down by 2.57% w/w to 1785.36 pts during the week of Aug 11 – Aug 15, after a 6.31% and 4.84% w/w decline posted during the two previous weeks, respectively. To remind, the reporting week was fourth consecutive week when RTS index was declining below 2000 points. On the first day of the reporting week the index closed at 1742.96 pts, going up by 1.2% d/d, then increased further by 3.5% d/d to 1803.82 on Aug 12, but started to decrease again by 1.5% d/d on Aug 13. Index recovered by 1.1% d/d on Aug 14 and then went down 0.5% d/d to close at 1785.36 pts on Aug 15. The total trade volume went down slightly w/w at USD 209.18mn from USD 229.49mn. The average daily volume amounted to USD 41.84mn vs. USD 45.9mn posted during previous week.
