Money supply M3 rises by 17.1% y/y in July.





Money supply M3 rises by 17.1% y/y in July. Money supply M3 was PLN 615bn at the end of July, which means a rise of 1.4% m/m and 17.1% y/y, announced the National Bank of Poland (NBP). Total deposits were PLN 522.21bn, i.e. up by 1.7% m/m, and 20.0% y/y, of which household deposits were PLN 298.36bn (rise of 1.9% m/m and 24.9% y/y), whereas those of corporates - PLN 140.73bn (increase of 1.8% in monthly terms and 8.6% on the year). Total credits amounted to PLN 543.66bn at the end of July, a rise of 2.4% on the month and of 27.6% in annual terms. Household credits were PLN 301.76bn (rises of 0.8% m/m and 30.4% y/y), whereas those of corporates - PLN 203.23bn (+0.9%, +23.4%). ISB
