Wayne Munroe joins Nick French as director of SFP Metals

London-based minor metals trading company SFP Metals has appointed Wayne Munroe, a lawyer based in the Bahamas, as its second director, according to documents filed at UK Companies House

London-based minor metals trading company SFP Metals has appointed Wayne Munroe, a lawyer based in the Bahamas, as its second director, according to documents filed at UK Companies House.
The appointment of the 40-year-old Munroe alongside former sole director Nick French is “long-delayed”, French said.
“I’ve been muttering that I want another director to do banking and payment things, things that can only be signed by a director for some time,” he said.
Munroe, who has been a partner in Lockhart & Munroe since 1996 according to the law firm’s website, “is somebody who can take over administrative chores meaning I can spend more time trading”, French added.
Munroe was appointed as director of the trading house, an important participant in the cobalt market, on April 5, and the appointment was signed off on June 12.
“I’ve complained to the shareholder’s representatives and they’ve come up with someone to share the burden with,” French said.
Munroe's legal practice focuses on “civil litigation with particular focus on commercial litigation, real property, family law and public law matters”, according to the litigator’s website.
He also represented the late Anna Nicole Smith — the controversial Playmate, minor film and TV actress — back in 2007, according to AP reports.
