Kazakhstan halts oil supplies through Georgian seaport of Batumi. Kazakh PM Karim Masimov ordered to halt oil supplies through Georgian seaport of Batumi due to Georgian-Russian conflict. He said that oil should be redirected to the local market and state-owned holding KazMunayGas and the Energy Ministry are working on this issue. Meanwhile, head of KazMunayGas Serik Burkitbayev stated that Batumi oil terminal had not been targeted in the conflict and all the tankers had been moved out of the port. To remind you, Batumi terminal is owned by the Kazakh company since the beginning of this year.
