Non-performing loans of China's commercial banks decline to 6.1% in June. According to the People's Daily, recent figures of the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) show that the non-performing loans (NPLs) of China's commercial banks declined to 6.1% as of June. The outstanding balance of non-performing loans (NPLs) at commercial banks amounted to CNY 1.17628tn, a decline of CNY 24.71bn in comparison to the beginning of the year. The coverage rate of loan loss provisions increased by 5.61% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
