UAE’s DAMAC launches USD 110mn commercial tower project in Qatar. UAE’s real estate developer DAMAC launched its first commercial tower, Business Sqauare, in Qatar , the company said in a statement. The QAR 400mn (USD 110mn) project spans 39,000 square meters and is located in the southern end of Lusail, close to the West Bay area, within the Marina District. Business Square provides multilevel parking, hi-speed internet, swipe access, a business lounge, and reception area. It also includes a health club, gym, multi-function room, cafés, restaurants and boutiques. In April, DAMAC released details of its projects; Garden Heights and The Terrace, both at Qatar ’s Lusail development. Lusail is scheduled to be completed by 2010 and is expected to house over 200,000 residents.
