Bourse turnover rises by 3.5% y/y in Q2.





Bourse turnover rises by 3.5% y/y in Q2. Trading volume on the Bratislava Stock Exchange (BCPB) amounted to SKK 149.9bn in Q2, expanding by 3.5% y/y, the bourse announced. Share trading still represented a negligibly small volume of SKK 222.8mn for the period or 0.1% of the total turnover. There were a total of 872 transactions for the period and share trading accounted for a 46.9% share. The largest bank in Slovakia , Slovenska Sporitelna (SLSP), was also the largest player on the bourse for the period with a 36.11% share in total turnover. It was followed by CSOB with a 22.83% share. On the share trading segment, specifically, UniCredit Bank Slovakia occupied the top place with share of 26.5%.
