Qatar, Sudan set up joint venture to seek investment opportunities in Khartoum. Qatar and Sudan established a joint venture holding company to seeking investment opportunities in various fields, the Peninsula reported. The new company’s capital will be specified during the first meeting of the newly formed committee later this summer in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum . The joint venture will focus on investments in agriculture, livestock and real estate as well as in food products manufacturing which will eventually be exported to Qatar . The Sudanese Vice President, Ali Othman Taha, called earlier for the creation of partnerships that would benefit both parties especially in fields like agriculture, livestock and mining.
