Main stock exchange indices start to rise.





Main stock exchange indices start to rise. The main indices on the local stock exchange rose for the first time in June on Friday.  The MBI-10 index, tracking the 10 blue-chip companies on the stock exchange, rose 2.44% compared to a day earlier, closing at 4,710.18. However, it fell 6% compared to last week. The recently reviewed broader MBID index, including the share of the 13 most traded companies over a six month period, rose 0.88% on Friday, but still decreased by 9.8% compared to last week, closing at 5,222.64.  Total turnover on the MSE this week rose 10.6% to MKD 151.96mn (EUR 2.47mn). The most traded shares last week were those of Komercijalna Banka, with total transactions worth of MKD 26mn.
