Liquid real estate people news: CB Richard Ellis hires head of European strategy

CB Richard Ellis Investors has hired Sabina Kalyan to fill the newly created position of European head of strategy. Based in London, Kalyan will be responsible for developing CB Richard Ellis Investors’ house views on the outlook for the European economy, financial markets and national property markets, harnessing the wealth of market information provided by CB Richard Ellis group and the experience of the CB Richard Ellis Investors fund managers.
Kaylan joins CB Richard Ellis Investors from IPD where she was chief economist. She was responsible for the UK and European forecasting service and analysing the impact of economic developments on the global property markets.
Kalyan is tasked with creating a research platform that will support and enhance CB Richard Ellis Investors’ European investments across its full range of products – from real estate securities, to fund of funds, to direct core, value-added and opportunistic strategies.
