FBiH fails to sell 16% of chemical producer Lukavac on bourse.

FBiH fails to sell 16% of chemical producer Lukavac on bourse. The Federation BiH failed to sell a 16% stake in chemical producer Lukavac on the entity bourse, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE), the FBiH privatisation agency AFP representative Hamdija Kulovic said for daily Nezavisne Novine . The failure was due to the lack of buyers interested in the package of 572,464 shares in the company (at KM 5.98 per share, the entire package worth KM 3.4mn). Kulovic said that another auction is to be started for the package on May 27 or May 28 at the same price. AFP expects that the buyer for the stake in the chemical producer might be English-Indian company Global Ispat, which established Global Ispat Koksna Industrija Lukavac company in 2003. The Federation government mulls selling also the remaining entity-owned capital in the company.
