Average wages grow by 10.1% y/y in Q1. The average monthly wage amounted to PLN 2,983.98 in Q1, i.e. it grew by 10.1% y/y and was up by 2.9% compared to the previous quarter, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced. In the entire 2007, wages went up by 6.3% after rising by 10.5% a year earlier. The data confirm the month-long trend of wage growth dynamics exceeding the increase of work efficiency. ISB, tom
