Assets of investment fund continue declining in April.





Assets of investment fund continue declining in April. Assets managed by investment fund firms (TFI) fell by 2.2% (PLN 2.4bn) in monthly terms to PLN 106.0bn at the end of April. This was the sixth consecutive monthly decline. The value of money accumulated in funds fell by 13.8% y/y in Q1/2008, Analizy Online, which monitors the investment and pension fund market, announced in its report. Thanks to the zloty’s appreciation, the euro-based statistics are in a better condition: the value of assets accumulated in the funds fell by -0.3% y/y to EUR 30.6bn at end-April, the report reads.
